Basic Motorcycle
Rider Course (BRC)
The Basic Rider Course is now
required for a motorcycle endorsement
This course is also designed for
beginning licensed riders of all ages. A motorcycle endorsement
is not required to take the course.
Upon successful completion, GCMTI
will submit the pass results electronically to the DHSMV
records. Upon receiving the results, you will be processed for a
motorcycle endorsement. When you go to the Driver's license
office to get your endorsement or motorcycle only license,
simply present your certificate to the examiner and they will
electronically check to see if you have completed the BRC
course.
The
Beginning Rider Course consists of 15 hours of instruction
including approximately 5 hours in the classroom and 10 hours of
intense riding on the parking lot range. This course will teach
you how to operate a motorcycle safely, and strongly emphasizes
the special skills and mental attitude required for dealing with
every day riding.
The fee for the Basic Riders
Course is $220.
Weekday classes are available with a
